Learn-A-Latte™ Make 'n Takes...To Get Your Creative Juices Flowing At scheduled times throughout the retreat, make ‘n takes will be available free of charge sponsored by the vendors. Each project will have a Create-A-Latte™ Formula Card and have a choice of two or more color schemes. NOTE: Some vendors may have additional items for sale to coordinate with their make 'n take.
Mojo Bar is Open 24-Hours a DaySome creative supplies are provided for use on projects that you are working on at the retreat. These supplies are not intended for take home use. Please respect this policy.
The Gathering PlaceWork space and meals will be done in the same building. Sleeping Rooms are about a two-minute walk away. Six meals are prepared for you -not by you! Coffee & hot water (for tea & hot chocolate) is available around the clock. Chocolate will be plentiful. Feel free to bring your own beverages and snacks. Your Expresso Workstation, Mojo Bar, Private Reserve Shopping, Design Café, Dining Hall all reside in the same building. Our sleeping accommodations will be in two buildings. We do not plan to use top bunks unless requested.
The Lodge
Each room has one queen bed, one twin bed, and one twin-sized bunk bed (handicap accessible rooms available).
Guest House
Each room has one queen-size bed and one twin-size bunk bed. All linens (bedding & towels are provided) Sleeping Rooms are about a two-minute walk from the main building. Shop-A-LatteThe Retreat will give you an opportunity to complete LOTS of creative pages/projects. The shopping at the Retreat will be limited as our focus will be creative inspiration & relationships. We will however have a nice selection of consumable products available for purchase. Scrappy HourSpecial promotions and buys will be available during two late night "Scrappy Hours".

Cool Beans Contest & Flavorful PrizesCool Beans Contest: Attendee are encouraged to submit a cool project (and we say "project", not just layouts ... cause our attendees work on just about anything from cards to tags; from gifts to books, and yes even layouts). Projects submitted for the Cool Beans Contest must completed at the retreat. The judging will be done using the "Cup of Excellence" standards. (Guidelines will be furnished in your welcome packet). Flavorful Prizes: Fabulous prizes opportunities will be spaced throughout the event.
Deja Brew Rummage SaleA cup of coffee gets cold, we dump it down the drain; but what about our excessive scrapbooking purchases? How do we part with those? Deja Brew is your chance to set out and SELL your obsessive (I mean excessive) scrapbooking purchases at the Create-A-Latte Retreat.
Deja Brew ~ is a chance to buy and sell the supplies we’ve all seen before but maybe never got a chance to use. Need one more of that certain something to complete a page; you never know what you might find in someone else’s stomping grounds.
Design Café - Tools of the TradeFree unlimited use of our tools which includes Quickutz & Sizzix (available for use until sold at retreats), three Xyron Cutting Systems and all the cutting books, and a computer with hundreds of fonts and a printer/scanner.
Your Expresso WorkspaceYour seating is assigned and you will have approximately 4’ of workspace with room around you for your tote bags or containers. (2 people per table)
Frequently Asked QuestionsHow Do I Prepare for the Retreat?In order to maximize your cropping time, we suggest having your project goals in mind. For instance, plan and prepare the specific pages/photos you will be working on by having the photos organized and ready to scrapbook along with the supplies needed to put together these pages. At the retreat, the combined creativity of you and the other near you will generate fabulous ideas for your projects. When you are really stuck, there will be a whole room full of very qualified people to offer suggestions. Can I sit with my friends?Of course! Seating is assigned so don’t worry about the time you arrive. Your workspace will be waiting for you. Is it safe to leave my supplies in the crop room overnight during the full retreat?Your Expresso Workspace is yours for the weekend. We trust all the croppers attending the retreat and we do everything in our power to make sure things are secure however we cannot be held responsible for your belongings. What should I bring?
Cancellation PolicyCancellations made prior to two weeks before the event will be refunded (minus a $20 processing fee per person). No refund for cancellations made within two weeks of event date however you can send someone in your place. There will be no refunds for “No Shows”. |
